Remote Appearance Information
Important Notice: Zoom Etiquette for Court
- Recording, copying, photographing, or rebroadcasting of court proceedings is prohibited by federal law. A violation of this prohibition may result in sanctions, referral to the state bar, denial of the right to appear by video or telephonically at future proceedings, criminal prosecution, contempt charges, denial of admission to future hearings, and any other sanctions deemed necessary by the Court.
- Interfering with Court Proceedings may result in sanctions, referral to the state bar, denial of the right to appear by video or telephonically at future proceedings, criminal prosecution, contempt charges, denial of admission to future hearings, and any other sanctions deemed necessary by the Court.
- All Zoom participants must use their full and correct name as their username, and be visible while in session.
- Dress appropriately. Treat the Zoom Room as if you were in the courtroom.
- Do not speak over individuals. Only one person should speak at any given time.
- While waiting for your case to be called, your microphone must remain muted. Your video may be off.
- When your case is called, you must un-mute your microphone and turn on your camera.
- Avoid having any background noise, shuffling paper, eating or talking to others in the room. Choose your location wisely.
- Your background should be neutral, and absent of anything that may be perceived as offensive.
- No vulgar or offensive screen names are allowed. You may be removed without notice at the discretion of the court.
- Failure to comply with the above rules and guidelines will result in your removal from the court proceeding.

Parties can request a Remote Appearance in non-criminal proceedings by using Judicial Council Forms RA-010 and RA-015 pursuant to CRC 3.672 and CCP § 367.75. Parties are required to reference the CRC 3.672 and CCP § 367.75 for service and filing requirements. Criminal Courtroom Appearances

Traffic Courtroom Appearances

Non-Criminal Appearances
Civil, Small Claims, Family Law, Probate
California Rules of Court (CRC) rule 3.672 and Code of Civil Procedure (CCP) § 367.75 have implemented specific procedures and requirements for parties appearing remotely in civil matters. Trinity Superior Court will adhere to CRC 3.672 and CCP § 367.75 for remote civil proceedings.
Juvenile Dependency Proceedings
Parties can request a remote appearance in juvenile dependency proceedings by using Judicial Council Forms RA-025, RA-030, and RA-015 pursuant to CRC 3.672 and CCP § 367.75. Parties are required to reference the CRC 3.672 and CCP § 367.75 for service and filing requirements.

- The Court does not provide technical support for Zoom participants. Please contact the Zoom Help Center, your local IT support , or seek other online guidance if you are experiencing connection issues.
